Preludes to Our European Tour, July 2009


Part I - a Celebration of American Music in France, including music by Aaron Copland, Gwyneth Walker, Morten Lauridsen, William Billings, Stephen Paulus, Randall Thompson and featuring the area premiere of Eric Whitacre's "Five Hebrew Love Songs."


Part II - a Celebration of "American music in Italy" with chorus, soloists and a chamber orchestra as well as encore classics from the American repertoire in a program to be performed in Sarasota's sister cities - Asolo, Cremona, Treviso and Conegliano.
