Annual Giving—Supporting Our Mission

In a community rich with cultural excellence, Key Chorale has been a standout among performing arts organizations for over two decades. Key Chorale has consistently delivered committed passionate performances as part of our own concert season, in partnership with Florida West Coast Symphony as its official chorus, and in our regular outreach performances in the community.

To support our musical programs that bring the choral masterpieces to the Sarasota community, the chorale depends on generous private donors.  Since ticket sales cover only a portion of the costs associated with our concerts, the chorale depends on your tax deductible gift to make these concerts possible.

If you would like to assist the chorale in meeting its annual expenses to achieve its ambitious programming and outreach efforts, please mail your gift to:  Key Chorale, PO Box 20613, Sarasota, Florida 34276. If you have questions about making a gift, please contact Richard Storm at 941-921-4845.

Endowment Giving—A Voice for the Future

The Key Chorale Endowment was established by the Board of Directors in September, 2005 to ensure the future of the chorale.  The vision of the endowment is:

…… to build and maintain an endowment that will provide a
a stable source of income to Key Chorale to ensure continued
performances of great choral music while enriching the
cultural resources of Southwest Florida.

The purpose of the endowment is to:

  • Enhance existing programs and to embrace new, exciting ideas
  • Offset dependence on ticket sales and economic downturns
  • Provide financial independence and flexibility
  • Provide permanent source of income to ensure the continuation of great choral performances

The goal of the endowment is to reach $100,000 on the 25th anniversary of the chorale—2010.  Gifts to the endowment are professionally managed by two local community foundations, The Community Foundation of Sarasota and The Gulf Coast Community Foundation of Venice.

By giving through gift annuities, IRA distributions, wills and trusts, stock donations, and designated gifts you ensure that Key Chorale will truly be a “voice for the future.”

If you are interested in the future of Key Chorale through planned giving, please contact Beverly Crawford, Treasurer, at 941-921-4845.
